WEEKLY WARNING WORDS

March 2, 2005 - Week 76 - Bush The Diplomatist

BY DR. BRUNO J. KEITH

During his 1st 4-years' term, Dick Cheney's iron fist replaced diplomacy. After the appointment of his house slave, Condolence Leezza Rice, she seemed to become his top advisor. What else is a Secretary of State status good for? Will Bushie reduce her again to the Ph.D. level of Hoover Library con-Servative lecturers?

Anyway, the Bush tour of Europe & the nearest Near East showed his grandiose mettle. How does that man of means & mean action prove his diplomatic skills? His handshaking of Chancellor Schroeder & President Chirac seemed a good beginning of their invitation to follow the Bush guidance. His nice words of courtesy, however, were quickly undermined by our talkative Presidential "diplomat". As though he wanted to waste his travel-efforts, our burning Bush declared that all options were still on the table, obviously, bomb away Teheran has remained one of his top options. As Napoleonic word strategy, Mr. President still wants to be known as the all-powerful pressure cooker: Blackmail the less powerful into submitting or get hit by our monopolistic weapons of mass destruction.

Any way, our Napoleon never denied the threat by his Vice, Cheney, that the Iranian atomic energy of the pious Shiite mullahs can be counterposed by our willing ally, Israel. What besieged Israel did to Iraq's striving for nuclear equality in 1981 was clearly pre-indicated by friend Reagan although our then President publicly rebuked Israel for acting preventively & without declaring war on a bitter & biting enemy who had never declared peace.

Being the mastiff - head of the only super-power, Bush could have provoked Saddam Hussein into foul action against US, but the Iraqian tyrant never went that far even when Bush made a tamer General Powell lie for him to excuse our flooding Iraq with our weapons of mass destruction. Now the tables have turned on US.

Our phony declaration of the end of our war led to bloody occupation policies. Instead of getting out quickly while the world still had to love US, we empowered the Saddam Hussein avengers who, however, remained a Sunni minority. Our style of a militant "democracy" could only strengthen the Shiite majority. Thus the supposedly democratic victory by people's voting may condemn Iraq to perpetual civil war under a pious mullah theocracy of the Iranian style.

Bush has no reasonable choice since he sold his soul to the mercenary Iraqies who learned their Bush-talk in exile under the guidance of right-wing college professors. Can he explain to his victims what our - side soldiers are fighting for, dying for or get mutilated for? Everyone now remembers that our fighting rooster-rot -- Bush, Cheney, Quayle -- never volunteered, like presidential Kerry, to offer their lives to Lyndon Johnson's Vietnam folly.

In all honesty, is Bush less dictatorial than Putin who also says democracy is on its way to victory in Russia unless we keep interfering with Putin's attempt to keep neighbor Ukraine friendly. Who had the biggest propaganda mills during the electioneering in the Ukraine, Russia or we? If the Russians had even tried to be too friendly with our neighbors, Canada or Mexico, the Bushits would have used Cold War tactics. Unfortunately, it was Clinton who began mopping up all Russia's unfriendly neighbors to rebuild a hotter cold war atomic threat which destroyed the poor economy of the USSR & made us the money power in support of the entire world of basket cases. Bush keeps buying meek friends & lets them rebuild fascistic facilities from Thailand to Chile, from Pakistan to Slovakia, from Honduras to Nepal and to Kashmir. Which is the rawest rogue regime? And who unsettles all minds in Asia?

On the positive side, the Bush-Cheney hostile talk caused a thousand liberal thoughts & protests from Iran's torture chambers. A blossoming hope for greater freedoms could undercut the absolute powers of born - again pious ayatollahs, however, it would cut every head of their critics if Bush & company would even consider making an Iraq out of Iran. Illogic doesn't mean anything to our head barbarians who try & further ever liberal abroad while condemning, accusing & call unpatriotic every liberal at home. To his stupid followers he sings sermons of the mount while he administers all the history of hatred to those to whom he can't sell the history of hierarchic, tyrannical & mass-murderous church - ills of the anti-Christ faith which is behind his hypocrisy.
