January 26, 2005 - Week 71 - The Second Coming

And it came to pass that George Walker Bush became a fervent disciple of the Christ, a true believer in apocalyptic disasters & the return of Jesus down to earth. But only until January 20, 2005, when his 2nd inauguration as our President made him glow from within. He turned into the Prince of Peace, the idol of democracy after his anointment as the world's salvation. Now our Foremost, Supreme & Cocksure crower sounds as though he sees himself as the Christ.
Quite literally, his command, together with his Vice's, over most of the world's oil got that mover of modern life all over & all under him, so that any Greek would call him Messiah, the oil anointed. His inaugural magnificence made it quite clear that Bush is burning with zeal, with electrifying energy & the sense of his God-sent mission on planet earth. He is certain that he alone is the Messenger, the Message, the Gospel itself.
We didn't have to count the many, many times that he mentioned the logos democracy, peace or freedom which he will impose on the entire world willy-nilly. Even if it takes his flaming sword, he pledged to bring permanent peace & our kind of freedom to all nations & democracy as the terminal condition of humanity.
Vice President Cheney added that Iran, the modern nuclear pestilence, would be taken to task. The Persians would be subdued by our nation - building mission & our delegates, so nobody would be left to defy this new apostle. The Vice will act for his Lord, probably even if it takes the Israeli Airforce to fulfill our Messiah's dreams of hegemony, control over all oil and forms of government. The healing physician has written & proclaimed his prescription, & the world had better accept his medicine, this cure of all evil & his monolithic word power.
As soon as Russia, China & the Euro Union have recovered from their shock of this new God-assistant, Son of Man, of King Bush I & now obvious ruler of the known world, they will confer in concord, confess & concede to the master of our small world; for His is the force, the monologue & the glory because they have to respect our fire power, our mission on earth & the born again angelic gospeler whose visage shines in the bright light of enlightenment, his visible halo & his assumed messianic mission. Who could resist the attraction of the Bush vision, his image & his imagination? Let freedom ring for 4 more years until all nations follow his guidelines for a true democracy.
Nobody dares to hint that Bush got lost in virtual reality, in visionary dreams & in queer self-evaluation. In silence we approve, smile & await his large programs toward greater freedom & truer democracy, designed to be fair & just to become life-supporting & healing all the wounds his first coming have opened.
Can there also be freedom for the homeless, penniless, health-uninsured, the children & the aged? Will he try to remedy his favoring the richest, the most powerful & the most arrogant abusers of the lesser half of his people? Will he fight for the reduction of all medication in price? Will he try to have a simple tax system without favoring those who can afford to pay their due & overdue share? Watch it, son of man! We don't want to become disappointed like people 2 millenia ago when the Bush sermon was a Sermon on the Mount which was great in theory but never fulfilled in practice. Somehow listeners may have turned off their TV set when this new messiah began his oath: "I will faithfully execute…" Did they remember the chief executioner of Texas? Some may pray that a new Bush may live & let live. Can an old dog learn new tricks? Has he the clout or only the Knout?
Rumors have it that our savior of the whole rotten world can only find the wherewithal for his multi-moral mission by cutting down to size all the "entitlements" which keep a 100 million of US alive. Those whom our new Lord loves so dearly, he then sends ahead of himself to fill the Heavens. For this real life in a real world is only the vestibule to the veritable actual reality where all suffering souls will be soothed in equality & greatest justice - quite an imaginative communism in the hereafter. Will it again take murderous crusades & a blood-curling inquisition to enforce this new Gospel of the Mount of the capitol in Washington, D.C. on January 20, 2005? If his super-energy weds an evil humanity in happiness, a processed brand of Condoleezza Rice will shower over the newly-wedded coupling of lamb & lion, Republican & Democrat, US soldiery & Iraq's freedom fighters, Iran's Mullah's & Western garbs of piety, Palestinian terrorists & Israeli Defence Forces. Glory be!
