Week 98 - December 9, 2006 - The Dr. B.J. Keith Exit Strategy

Let US be honest, reasonable & constructive! Three months are not sufficient to teach careless politicians, mindless broadcasters & a non – caring “free” press to read & understand the only obvious, decent & yet intelligent approach to our losing an unnecessary & evil war on Iraq’s civilians.

Please, learn that Shia – Islam developed automatically from the exclusion & subsequent martyrdom of the Prophet’s nearest & dearest relatives from succession, (Khalif). As a weak majority, Shiites created their own shrines & punished themselves by brutal & suicidal self – flagellation. Only where they bred a majority, did the orthodox ones murder en masse. Where they were powerful, the Sunnites dictated policies with bloody hands. Thus both developed into religious – ethnic entities (equal to nations, after 13 centuries of bloodshed).

After W.W. I, the English created Iraq. Two of British – appointed Schemite Kings & successive military tyrants used mass-murder as a political glue. Our invasion englued Iraq and all our good intentions. Nobody can win this uncivil war.

Only the Dr. B.J. Keith Exit Strategy can separate the unholy misalliance of disparate, mixed – up game – cocks. Advise all parties to vote on a peaceful separation & exchange of land & properties after enlarging, as a center, a much enlarged Federal District for foreign policies & symbol of future federal union.

The International Airport, government centers & an enlarged Green Belt with the most peaceful & secular citizens could be walled in as a powerful resistance to invading neighbors. Fortified gates must open separately to the main Shiite, Sunni & Kurd suburbs; from those strongholds fortified walls with roads within them lead to their settlements.

People & possession exchanges should be decided by votes. Kurdistan is already, thanks to US, an autonomous state, almost a model for Sunni & Shia imitations. But the Kurds need the longest walled – in road from their small Baghdad settlement to their mountains.

Although such old – fashioned “defenses” are largely symbolic, they encourage some women & children & discourage abnormal savages who destroy in the name of the Lord, for nothing can withstand modern weapons of mass destruction.

The Shiites need to connect their 2 main Baghdad ghettos with strong walls to protect their streets & still a fortified walled road to their Shia Quadrangle. The same for the Sunni sub – state from their suburbs to their main population centers.

To US falls the burden of reconstruction if a vast majority of Iraqians favors the Dr. B.J. Keith Exit Strategy: Our heavy equipment & loose dollars pave the way to recovery, revival & rebirth.

Every kid, oldster & invalid is to be paid $5 a day for working the first month, carrying stones, bagsful of dirt or building materials, forming sun – dried bricks, etc. If the so employed are peaceful, the pay should be $10 the 2^nd month & $15 dollars the 3^rd. Those who volunteer to help constructing the longest fortified road to Kurdistan earn $20.

Might this full employment not lead to civil peace? Could this oldest civilization not revive pride & a commonweal which never existed? What would our President do if all these autonomous states preferred our pacemakers, peacemakers & protectors and invited US to leave 10,000 of our most amiable & dedicated soldiers in each of Iraq’s entities?
