September 24, 2003 - WEEK 1 - OUR IRAK WRECK?

BY DR BRUNO J. KEITH

A pumped-up jester with D.C. and A.C. Texas curren(t)cy preaches restoring democracy where it never ever existed, and where the most savage form of theocracy will never allow a democracy to survive.

The greater joke yet is to rehabitate a nation which never existed until invented by English Oxford students after World War I. Thankful to the loser of the Prophet's Mecca for having his lawless desert devils ride herd around an English army against Turkey, they tried to install one of his sons on the throne of Syria which also was invented by that move.

With French urging, the local Arabs chased this descendant of Mohammed out. Thereupon Great Britain invented a Kingdom of Iraq around the ancient Mesopotamia which had been a geographical concept within ever-changing empires. Their afterthought was competition with the Rockefeller oil monopoly.

Always on the side of the worst and most despotic rogue, we made Iraq the show piece of our anti-Soviet Baghdad Pact which also embraced a monstrous, new Pakistan and the oil monarchy of Iran.

Can we ever forget the news photos of the public lynching of the Baghdad royals and the carrying on a pole of royal genitals under the guidance of the first secular tyrant, a general? Of course. But had we embraced him as we did many monsters, we might have created a temporary ally against the much more threatening theocracies of born-again fanatics who major in mass-murders of unbelievers among them and wherever else they can find victims. Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Sikhs, and even Kurds will keep losing the spiritual battle in perpetual bloodbaths. How dare we guide into democracy a no-nation state in which the rabid majority of Shia Arabs can gain its murderous rule via election, like Hitler in Germany?

In two (2) weeks a partial solution to our problem.
